Brentford are set to sign Liverpool midfielder Fabio Carvalho.
Carvalho spent the previous campaign on loan with RB Leipzig and Hull City, having failed to command a regular first-team place at Anfield last term.
But the Portugal under-21 international is set to leave the Reds after just two years in their ranks with the Bees striking a deal worth an initial £27.5 million.
Arne Slot’s side could net further payments in add-ons and a sell-on clause for Carvalho, who arrived from Fulham in summer 2022 for a £7M fee.
He made 21 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals in that time.
