Everton have unveiled designs of their plans to renovate Goodison Park.
An application to rebrand the Blues’ long-standing home was submitted to Liverpool City Council this week which will see a series of changes made to the stadium before the start of the forthcoming 2016-17 season.
Chief among them will be cladding and light displays that will be installed on Goodison’s exterior while a tower construction will be erected at the Bullens Road side of the Park End stand.
A ‘wrap around’ banner will also cover three sides of the stadium in the plans put forward by Everton in conjunction with Condy Lofthouse Architects as well as new signage at the Park End.
Proposals to incorporate a statue commemorating the club’s Holy Trinity of Howard Kendall, Colin Harvey and Alan Ball were also included in the application to council bosses.
