Everton FC plotting summer swoop for Barcelona starlet

Everton are reportedly planning a summer move for Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi.

The Spain international has netted eight goals in 20 appearances this season, and was linked with a loan move to Merseyside in January.

However manager Luis Enrique is understood to have blocked the move in order to keep his options open regarding the youngster.

Given the strong competition for starting roles in the current Barcelona team, El Haddadiis reported to have grown frustrated at his lack of game time.

It remains unclear whether any potential move would be a loan or a permanent transfer, however Everton appear to be strong favourites to land the player.

Everton enjoy good relations with the Catalan club following their successful capture of Gerard Deulofeu, who signed initially on loan for the Toffees in 2013 before securing a permanent move last summer.
