Sadio Mane remains tight-lipped about his Liverpool future this summer.
Mane aims to round off a stellar season for club and country as Jurgen Klopp’s side head into Saturday’s Champions League final with Real Madrid.
Like Mohamed Salah, the Senegal international’s contract at Anfield is set to expire next season which has led to speculation over a potential summer exit.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Mane, who is expected to be a strong contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or.
Unlike Salah, who this week pledged to stay with the Reds for another year, Mane is refusing to be drawn on his situation ahead of the Paris showdown.
He said: “Honestly, I think the answer I can give you now is I feel very good.
“I am fully focused on the Saturday game, that is the answer I must give before the final.
“Come back to me on Saturday and I will give you the best answer you want to hear, for sure. It’s special. I will give you all you want to hear then.
“But for now let’s go win it because I have no time for other things. I will do everything possible to win it because it is my and all the boys’ biggest dream.
“Then I will give you the answers.”
Liverpool face Real with memories of their 2018 final defeat still fresh in the mind, not least after Mane’s sparring partner Salah suffered a shoulder injury.
The Egyptian heightened talk of potential revenge by declaring that he had a ‘score to settle’ with the 13-time European champions at the Stade de France.
But Mane insists that the disappointment of Kyiv does not play on his mind despite scoring a conciliatory strike in the eventual 3-1 loss to Los Blancos.
“I think Mo is just talking about what Mo thinks,” he added.
“In the four years [since] a lot has changed in how we play the game, our experience – we have more experience and quality in the team.
“I think we all forgot about what happened in 2018. For sure Real Madrid were the better team and deserved to win the game.
“But it is going to be a different game.”
