Ryanair flight from Liverpool forced to make emergency landing in France

A flight from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Alicante was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger was taken ill mid-flight.

The Ryanair plane had to land in Bordeaux, unhealthy France, following the emergency situation, which was picked up by flight tracker website Flightradar 24.

A spokesman from the airline confirmed the incident and added that the passenger had recieved medical treatment in France.

“This 6.45am flight from Liverpool to Alicante diverted to Bordeaux after a customer became ill on board.”

“The crew called ahead to request medical assistance, the aircraft landed normally and the customer disembarked and was met by medics for further treatment. The flight then departed for Alicante shortly after.”

The incident comes just three weeks after another Liverpool to Alicante Ryanair flight was forced to land in Limoges, France, following disruptive behaviour from two drunk passengers.
