Everton will not play any competitive football until at least the start of May.
The Premier League announced on Thursday that no games will take place before April 30 at the earliest due to the worldwide outbreak of coronavirus.
Matches were initially suspended last week for a period until April 3, which saw Monday’s Merseyside derby at Goodison Park automatically postponed.
But clubs have agreed to complete the 2019/20 campaign once it is safe to do so irrespective of how long it is dragged out by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It means Jurgen Klopp’s side remain on course to end a 30-year wait for the title as they hold a 25-point lead over closest challengers Manchester City.
The Football Association have indefinitely extended their season ending date of June 1 in order to accommodate the coronavirus scheduling backlog.
Leagues across Europe have also temporarily shut down due to the virus.
