David Moyes has hailed Everton fans’ efforts ahead of the Merseyside derby.
Supporters’ group The 1878s are set to stage a coach welcome for Liverpool’s first visit to Hill Dickinson Stadium alongside a pre-match display in the South Stand.
The Blues received a rapturous reception ahead of last month’s clash with Chelsea which carried on into Bramley-Moore Dock as the hosts ran out 3-0 winners.
And Moyes was full of praise for the work put in by Evertonians as they head into a clash which could strengthen their side’s hopes of a European qualification place.
He said: “It’s brilliant, it really is.
“We need to rebuild a lot of relationships at the club. Mainly, with a lot of the supporters.
“Any great support which people are putting up is fabulous.
“That’s what great football clubs do. The supporters get behind the team.”
