Plas Talgarth is a Macdonald Resort situated within Snowdonia National Park. It is ideally located in Snowdonia National Park as the perfect place for rest, relaxation or adventure.
The Spa at Plas Talgarth is somewhere you can truly escape and unwind. Situated within the main club house it has recently undergone a huge renovation to see the facility modernised and refreshed. It will officially launch with a sparkling event on Friday January 31.
The Spa is staffed by highly qualified members of staff who used the finest products including Elemis and Jessica Nails in extremely luxurious surroundings.
I was treated to the Elemis Prescribed Facial which lasts for 55 minutes. The key to this facial is that the beautician takes her time to look at your skin and suggest the course of treatment meaning that each facial is adapted to the customer and takes in to account your wants and skin concerns. No two facials are the same and it offers a really lovely personalised experience.
My beautician really took her time to understand my skincare concerns and made a number of suggestions for the facial. I was made to feel very relaxed and in no way rushed. I was talked through the products that were being used and my beautician made sure I was comfortable throughout the process.
All of the members of staff were extremely professional in their approach and very friendly. There seemed to be a good mix of customers in terms of regular locals and those on visits to the resort.
The Spa offer an excellent range of treatments that represent excellent value for money when taking in to consideration the Elemis products use and the length of the treatment.
There are a number of full and half day spa experiences that can be booked at very reasonable prices (from £50) which include treatments, full access to the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and a 2 course lunch at the on-site restaurant. These offer excellent value and something I would definitely book when returning to the Plas Talgarth resort.
The Spa’s renovation is noticeable and gives a relax modern vibe to the treatment rooms. No expense has been spared on this and it is shown in every fine details including the very comfortable treatment tables and undeniably fluffy towels.
The Spa at Plas Talgarth offers excellent value for money whether you are popping in for you weekly dose of you time or extra relaxation time during your holiday. You are sure to be treated to the highest possible standard in the most lovely surroundings! It comes highly recommended, I can’t wait to go back!
