Everton will tie up the signing of Juventus striker Moise Kean in the coming days.
An initial £29 million deal has been struck with the Serie A champions as Marco Silva eyes a raft of incomings before the English transfer deadline on August 9.
The Blues have been in the market for an established striker to lead the line following Romelu Lukaku’s departure to Manchester United in summer 2017.
Kean, who is now in the final 12 months of his existing deal at the Allianz Stadium, scored six times in 13 appearances for the Old Lady last season.
He hit the headlines in April after responding to racist abuse from Cagliari fans by celebrating in front of them when he scored in Juve’s 2-0 victory.
The Italy international, 19, will become Everton’s fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Fabian Delph, Andre Gomes and Jonas Lossl.
Silva is also expected to make further additions following the sale of Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig and Idrissa Gueye’s move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Juventus had originally sought a buy-back clause for Kean but have instead accepted the option to match any future offers for the promising marksman.
Performance-related add-ons could take the overall fee to around £37 million.
