Police have named a man who was killed in a Kirkby roadside collision.
Istvan Tamas was confirmed as the victim involved in a collision with an Audi S3 which took place on Pingwood Lane at around 5.05pm on Thursday.
Emergency services attended the incident but the 50-year-old from Everton was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 37-year-old man from Kirkby was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and taken to a local police station for questioning.
