A man was stabbed outside a Liverpool school in a broad daylight attack.
Police were called to Notre Dame Catholic College on Great Homer Street shortly after midday on Wednesday to reports of that a man had been attacked.
The suspected assailant was seen walking close to the school while a man later presented himself at a local hospital with injuries consistent with a stab wound.
He remains in hospital where his injuries are being assessed. Merseyside Police remain on the scene carrying out further investigations into the incident.
