Child murderer and peadophile, Jon Venables, has applied for leave from Prison over Christmas.
A prison source has revelaed that Venables, will be 13 months in to a 3 year prison sentence for possessing child pornography has applied to take a break away from prison to celebrate Christmas.
All prisoners, including those sentenced to life in prison, can apply to be let out over Christmas if they meet certain criteria.
Up to 1200 prisoners are granted release via a temporary license for a five day period over Christmas.
Only those prisoners who are deemed to no longer be a threat to society and those who are nearing the end of their sentence are able to be released.
Venables was recalled to prison last November after he was found in possession of more than 1,000 indecent images of children.
In February 2018, he pleased guilty to four counts including owning 302 Category A images, 148 Category B images and 630 Category C images.
When he appeared in court via video link, he also admitted having a peadophile manual on or before November 2017.
