Some Great Summer Venues for a Drink in Liverpool

Summer is nearly here – so it’s definitely going to be beer garden weather soon. Luckily for you Liverpool has lots of options for you when it comes to having a cheeky drink outside. Since there are so many to choose from, in Liverpool, we thought we’d put a handy little list together to help you on your way to some al fresco fun. They will suit everyone, from Liverpool based students to the more mature person.

Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden looks like a quintessential English garden. You will see lots of summer plants as well as plenty of gin! It’s beautiful to look at, making it a great space to have a natter and a drink. If you are looking to find the secret garden – look out for a sign that says “Gin Lane”.

Ye Cracke

This pub has been much the same for years and is incredibly popular. It’s one of the oldest pubs in Liverpool and can be found on Rice Street. It has lots of history and is a perfect place for a drink in the summer.

Matou

Matou has an amazing waterfront terrace that will offer you an amazing view of Liverpool. You will be presented with a great view on either side of the restaurant, and you will love the outside roof terrace.

Kazimier Gardens

When you visit Kazimier Gardens you will feel as if you are at the Caribbean! You will be presented with coconuts, palm trees, and be welcomed to your own little paradise. The space is beautiful, and you will feel as if you have been transported to your very own paradise.

Esteban

Esteban has a bit of a bohemian feel to it. It has an outdoor patio that looks amazing when it is sunny outside, and even if it does get a bit showery – they have a glass conservatory where you can sit.

Free State Kitchen

The outside area in the Free State Kitchen has a different vibe to the inside. It’s taken incredibly well care of and has beautiful lights around it that look as if they are stars. This makes it perfect for a summertime drink at night time.

Goodness Gracious Roof Garden

If you are looking for a beautiful setting for a drink, this is the place to go. It has amazing views and is right next to the Three Graces. It’s on top of the Oh Me Oh My building, and the rooftop scenery is breathtaking. For students looking for a more civilized evening out, this venue is the perfect place to go. It’s in walking distance from both the university campuses and the accommodation provided by companies like Collegiate, so you don’t need to travel far or worry about paying for taxis when on a night out to Goodness Gracious.

The Attic

The Attic is perfect for those of you who are beer lovers. It has lots of different options for you, so much so that you won’t know where to begin. It’s bright and vibrant, with colourful chairs. It’s a great place to catch up with some friends.
