A house in Maghull was targeted by a gunman on Friday night.
At around 8.40pm on Friday Night, police received a report was received of damage to a house in Parkbourne, Maghull.
Armed police attended and confirmed damage to windows consistent with a shotgun having been fired. Nobody was injured and it is initially believed to have been a targeted incident.
Officers will be in the area to carry out house-to-house, witness and forensic enquiries and to offer reassurance to the community.
