The actor who played Tinky Winky in Teletubbies was found dead near the Liverpool waterfront.
Police were called to the Mann Island area of the city at 7.30am on January 17, 2018 where the body of Simon Shelton was discovered.
The father of three died whilst visiting the city from his home in Bedfordshire.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been handed to the coroner.
It has been claimed that Mr Shelton collapsed and possibly died of Hypothermia.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “We were called to the Mann Island area at about 7.30am on January 17 to reports of a man being found deceased.
“This is a non-suspicious death and the file has been referred to the coroner.”
