Merseyside Police have appealed for information following a burglary at a music store in Derby Road, Liverpool.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 8pm on Saturday, 13 January where two one of a kind guitars were stolen from the shop at Savoy House on Derby Road.
The thieves are said to have gained access through a rear window where they then stole a Lakewood M 38CP guitar and a Fender American Vintage, both with retail prices of around £2,000.
Detective Inspector Phil McManus said: “The manager of the store is quite rightly distressed by this incident.
“Not only have these unique guitars been stolen, but significant damage has also been done to the property itself, causing a costly repair bill.
“We are currently looking into all lines of enquiry and urge anyone with information to come forward.

“Did you see someone acting suspiciously on Saturday night? Maybe you noticed someone in or around the shop in the days leading up to the 13th – call us on 101.
“Any information, regardless of how insignificant you think it may be could be the crucial information we need to track these thieves down. Alternatively, if you spot either of these guitars online on sale/auction websites, take a note of the user details and get in touch immediately.”
Anyone with information can call 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
