A man is being treated in hospital after becoming stuck under a digger in Old Swan.
Emergency services were called at 3.55pm this afternoon following reports that a man had become trapped under machinery on Mill Lane at the junction with St Oswalds Street.
It is believed that the man became stuck under a small digger.
The machinery has now been removed and the male has been taken to hospital with a suspected broken/dislocated ankle.
The incident has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive.
