Arriva drivers have moved one of their strike days to coincide with the Merseyside Derby.
Drivers are on strike today with a further nine strike days planned in December.
Arriva have announced today that one of the planned strike days which was planned for Wednesday December 13 has now been moved forward to Sunday, December 10.
The strikes are held throughout the North West and so this planned strike will also affect football fans in Manchester – as the Manchester Derby is also being held on the same day.
The company said: “ Unions have re-arranged the planned strike day for the 13th December to the 10th December (Merseyside and Manchester Derby Day).”
