Merseyside Police detectives investigating a stabbing in Liverpool City Centre last month have arrested and charged a man in connection with the offence.
Following extensive enquiries, 18-year-old Sean Bethell of no fixed abode was arrested yesterday (Thursday, 23 November) and was this morning charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and breach of a court order.
Detectives began an investigation after a 30 year-old man was stabbed in a nightclub in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 8 October.
Officer were called to Santa Chupitos on Slater Street at 2.45am following reports the man had suffered an injury to his abdomen.
