Nikola Vlasic has opened up about his current lack of playing time at Everton.
Vlasic enjoyed a flying start to his Goodison Park career as one of the rare bright spots from Ronald Koeman’s unprecedented summer of transfer spending.
But the Croatian forward’s prospects have been limited in the wake of Koeman’s departure at the end of last month with just one substitute appearance since.
However Vlasic insists that there is no issue with his dearth of game time with the Blues and has not spoken with caretaker manager David Unsworth about it.
“It was good at the beginning when I came, but the coach changed,” he told 24Sata.
“No, I haven’t talked to the new coach about why I don’t play.
“It is about professionalism: you do not play – you do not play, you’re on the bench and that’s it, there is no story.”
