David Moyes has admitted he would welcome a possible return to Everton.
Moyes spent 11 years in the Goodison Park hot seat before a brief, ill-fated spell as manager at Manchester United, which ended after a defeat to his old club.
But with the Blues’ hunt for Ronald Koeman’s successor yet to reach a breakthrough, the ex-Sunderland coach has been touted as a shock contender.
Despite his previous stint in management culminating in the Black Cats’ relegation from the Premier League, Moyes is open to an Everton comeback.
However the 54-year-old also hinted that roles at other clubs could be in the works.
“Well, the answer would be, of course it would have to be yes (to rejoining Everton),” he told BeIn Sport.
“But I’ve got other things ongoing and it might not be too long before I’m back in work.
“If the job came up [at Everton] then there would have to be an interest, but I have other interests as well.
“Bill Kenwright I think is one of the best chairmen so whoever does get the job will be working with a really good chairman who is incredibly supportive.”
