Merseyside Police is investigating following a fatal road traffic collision in Liverpool yesterday, Thursday 26th October.
Emergency services are currently on Queens Drive at the junction of Utting Avenue in Walton, following reports of a road traffic collision involving a male pedestrian and an HGV.
The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Work is ongoing to confirm his identity and inform his next of kin.
Road closures are currently in place while an investigation is carried out. The driver of the HGV stopped at the scene.
