These days, bars in Liverpool aren’t just bars, and many offer the kind of activities that make for perfect icebreakers on the earlier dates. If you want to venture a little further afield, the Wirral isn’t very far from Liverpool at all. West Kirby is an especially beautiful part, and you’ll find coastal walks and cute village-style cafes and bars to be reminiscent of a resort-style getaway, without having to venture very far at all. In fact, crossing the water takes about half an hour by public transport, and about the same if you’re driving. It does get chilly in the colder months, especially around the beach area, so make sure you tell your date to wrap up warm!
