A 22 year-old man is due to appear in court today, Tuesday 10 October, in connection with the murder of Joseph McKeever.
Jamie Grimes was extradited from Spain yesterday under a European Arrest Warrant and has been returned to Liverpool.
He will appear before Liverpool magistrates court this afternoon to face charges of murder, kidnap and false imprisonment of Joseph McKeever who was murdered in June this year.
The body of Joseph McKeever was found in a burnt our car on a field off St Domingo Road.
Two men have previously been charged with the murder and kidnap of Joseph McKeever and had appeared in court in July.
Police believe that Mr McKeever was subjected to a sustained attack that left his with a severe head injury before his death.
