Liverpool super club Garlands is set to close its doors after nearly 25 years.
The Eberle Street venue will continue to trade on the international stage with events across the globe but is cutting ties with its spiritual home since 1993.
Garlands was forced to close its doors for three months in 2015 after it was found guilty of being involved in drug dealing on its premises.
Two new clubs are opening on the site of Garlands later this month with ‘Brickworks’ taking inspiration from iconic Dubai clubs White, and Cavali.
‘Underground’ will take the ground floor with its launch on Saturday, August 26.
Merseyside boxers Tony Bellew and the Smith Brothers are due to join forces with UFC star Paddy Pimblett to officially open the new-look venue.
The heavily anticipated fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather will be screened on a live link from Las Vegas as part of the launch.
