Two men have been charged with the murder of Joseph McKeever last month.
The 54-year-old’s body was discovered in a car that had been burnt out and abandoned on wasteland near Wyre Road in Everton on June 15.
Karl Kelly, 31, from Old Swan and Darren Colecozy, 22, of no fixed abode are set to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday in connection with his killing.
In addition to Mr McKeever’s murder, the pair have been charged with the kidnap and false imprisonment of the Everton resident.
