St Johns Shopping Centre is adding two new independent stores to the centre.
Ahead of the second quarter of the business year, the Liverpool shopping centre are reaffirming themselves as the hub for independent businesses.
Beauty retailer Glamour Forever and horologists Time Watch Repairs will be opening their doors, joining over 100 independent stores at the shopping centre.
General Manager Robert Bradley said: “We’ve always been home to some great local indies and have built our reputation on being an eclectic mix with bigger retail names too, which really meet our customers needs and demands.”
Meanwhile, That’s Entertainment will be relocating to a larger section of the centre, with two floors and access to their own multi-storey car park.
Robert added: “Since the mall was refurbished with a £10 million investment, along with branding and a new website, lettings enquiries from larger value fashion retailers, lifestyle brands and leisure vendors have seen a sharp incline.
“St John’s has been part of the fabric of Liverpool for a very long time and it’s important that we continue to support the city and our local independent stores.
“But we are also ambitious and want to see even more variety and choice for our shoppers as well as an extended choice of goods.”
St Johns already houses big brand stores such as Wilkos and Aldi, along with fast-food chains Subway McDonalds and more.
Ahead of students returning to the city in September, St Johns expect to have one of their most successful second quarters yet.
