A teenager has been arrested in Liverpool in connection with the Manchester Arena attack.
The 19-year-old was detained at the city’s John Lennon Airport on Friday as the 23rd suspect to be held over May’s terrorist act which killed 23 people.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the arrest as part of its investigation into Salman Abedi’s suicide bombing of an Ariana Grande concert.
The teen will be questioned on suspicion of offences contrary to the Terrorism Act while an address in the Fallowfield area of Manchester was also searched.
Several properties have previously been raided as part of the probe into the attack, with an address in St Helens initially targeted by counter-terrorism chiefs.
