A recent survey has shown that those in the north west are the third least patient across the U.K. when it comes to receiving cold calls.
The survey found that 69% of people in the north west will hang up immediately when they receive a cold call.
Wired and wireless phone headset providers Headsets4Business.co.uk conducted the survey with 1,500 participants from across the country.
While no one likes being on the receiving end of a cold call, the survey found that over half of north westerners do understand the people on the other end of the phone are just doing a job.
People receive cold calls in regards to various topics from phone deals to home improvements but the most irritating cold call to receive is about PPI.
The least irritating cold call to receive found in the survey was in relation to pensions with just 1.9% of Britons annoyed when called about the topic.
