Liverpool are not willing to allow Kevin Stewart to leave cheaply this summer.
Stewart drew interest in January from several clubs including Newcastle, Brighton, Swansea and West Brom but Jurgen Klopp held on to the midfielder.
The 23-year-old made the last of his 20 first-team appearances to date for the Reds came in an FA Cup third round tie with Plymouth Argyle around that time.
Signed on a free transfer from Tottenham in 2014, Stewart’s time at Anfield appears to be at an end as Brighton revive their previous interest in the player.
But Klopp is only prepared to sanction a sale of £10 million, the Liverpool Echo have claimed.
Liverpool’s valuation of Stewart has factored in his development from the under-23 level into the club’s senior ranks over the past three years.
Huge fees will also be demanded for Alberto Moreno, who was the subject of a failed £11m bid from Napoli last week, and fellow defender Mamadou Sakho.
Moreno is set to be allowed to leave for a deal in the region of £15m while Sakho’s long-awaited exit from Merseyside is likely to come at a cost of £30m.
