Mohamed Salah began life at Liverpool with tours of Melwood and Anfield.
The winger became the Reds’ most expensive signing on Thursday when he completed an initial £36.9 million move from AS Roma.
Salah will wear Roberto Firmino’s number 11 shirt, with the Brazilian instead taking up Anfield’s legendary no.9 for the forthcoming 2017/18 campaign.
He was afforded a grand tour of Anfield with the club’s new CEO Peter Moore on hand to talk the Egypt international through his new surroundings.
Salah outlined his Liverpool mission statement after securing his record move.
He said: “I’m excited. Liverpool haven’t won the Premier League for a long time.
“We have a great team and very good players. I was watching the games last year and everyone was giving 100 per cent to win something.
“Everyone can see the coach gives everything. I hope to see that together we can give everything to win something for the club, for the supporters and for us.”
