A teenager is in serious condition after scrambler bike crash in Walton.
The 19-year-old came off the bike as it collided with a car at the junction of City Road and Gwladys Street in the area at around 1pm on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services called to the scene, where it is said the rider was found not to be wearing a helmet with only a balaclava covering his head as protection.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is in a serious but not life threatening condition while the driver of the car remained at the scene.
It is believed that the bike involved in the collision with the Seat Alhambra was removed from the scene before emergency services arrived by several males.
Witnesses at the time have said that medical treatment was performed at the scene to treat the injuries sustained before being transported to hospital.
