Primary school shut after parent stabbed outside

A Wirral primary school has been shut down after a parent was stabbed outside.

The victim has been taken to hospital with injuries to her hand consistent with a knife being used. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Detectives believe the incident on Temple Road may have been domestic related and the offender is known to the victim.
