A man is in hospital following an early-morning attack in Liverpool city centre.
Police were called to Slater Street at 5.50am on Tuesday where they discovered a man that had suffered minor injuries.
An investigation is underway and the scene has been cordoned off.
Three people have already been arrested in connection with the incident.
Two men, aged 25 and 30, and a 26-year-old woman have all been detained on suspicion of assault.
