A man has died after he was found injured in a Liverpool city centre street.
Police were called to Hotham Street, close to London Road, at around 1.50pm on Wednesday following reports of concerns for the safety of a man.
The man, in his 50s, was found with serious injuries by paramedics and taken by ambulance to Aintree Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
His death is being treated as unexplained by police but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances ahead of a post mortem into the incident.
