A Liverpool city centre doorman has been caught on camera punching a woman.
Video footage captured by Mathew Street onlookers has been shared across social media of the incident, believed to have taken place on Easter Sunday.
A clip recorded from inside Hardy’s Bar shows the bouncer ducking to avoid a punch thrown by the woman before retaliating by hitting her in the face.
The woman is then seen stumbling backwards following the blow, which is believed to have been preceded by an altercation during the incident.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that they received reports of an assault in the Mathew Street area at around 6.50pm on April 16.
