Police have shut down a Speke house where drugs and guns were seized.
Anti-social behaviour was also cited in the three-month closure order of 42 Bray Road granted by Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court on Friday.
The property has now been boarded up and will remain subject of a Closure Order for three months.
Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer Lee Sabatina said: “The granting of this order against a private home owner is significant and shows that we take the impact of firearms, criminality and anti-social behaviour on the lives of local residents very seriously.
“This action was taken to tackle and reduce the levels of crime and disorder, and improve the quality of life for the people in the area, it also sends out a clear message that we will target those who cause these problems and will use all available legislation and powers to make our community safer.
“This order was only made possible due to the help provided by the community and the close working relationship with our partner agencies.
“The order means that the occupants are removed from the property and nobody can enter the property during the time of the order. Anyone who does enter the premises during this period will be arrested.
“I encourage anyone with information regarding issues having a negative impact on the community to contact us via 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.”
