A man was shot in the hand in Stockbridge Village.
Emergency services were called to The Birches at 10pm on Monday to reports that a 27-year-old had suffered an injury consistent with gunshot wound.
Detectives are currently carrying out enquiries in the local area but believe the incident that led to the shooting may have taken place in a nearby alleyway.
