The pressure has been mounting on Jurgen Klopp in recent weeks due to multiple poor performances from Liverpool which has more or less seen their title chances go down the drain.
It seems that the majority of Liverpool fans still have faith that Klopp can turn things around, but with a 2-0 loss to Hull it’s becoming very frustrating for fans to keep their emotions in. Some fans have even questioned why Liverpool offered Klopp a new 6 year deal at the end of last season, but there are multiple reasons why Liverpool fans should be patient with their manager.
He’s Turned Liverpool Into Fierce Opponents
It’s clear Liverpool have defensive problems as they have conceded more goals than any other club in the top 6, but as they are joint with Arsenal in terms of scoring the most goals in the Premier League it’s certain Liverpool are fierce rivals and can beat anyone on their day. Liverpool fans should be patient because the team are scoring goals, they just need to sort out a few problems at the back and they will be ready to go next season.
Klopp is an Exciting Manager
Exciting managers are few and far between these days and it’s obvious Klopp has plenty of motivation to succeed at Liverpool. When Liverpool need a bit of a pick-me-up Klopp is always on the touchline encouraging fans to get behind the team and that is a quality that is hard to find in a manager.
He Can Attract Big Signings
One of the many reasons why Klopp should stay at Anfield is that he can attract big European players to come and play for Liverpool. Not many managers can do this without spending millions and as Klopp has worked with many big players at Borussia Dortmund, he has many contacts that can make things happen.
He Has the Experience to Succeed
Klopp has years of managerial experience and did great things with Mainz 05 during his 7-year stint, taking them into the Bundesliga for the first time in their history. He then took Borussia Dortmund to league success on two occasions, securing multiple records in the process such as the highest points a team has ever accumulated over a season.
Klopp Takes a Few Seasons to Get Going
Liverpool hired Klopp to come in and take Liverpool to the next level and we have already seen a change in their attacking play. Regardless of how he has fared in his first full season, he has still turned Liverpool into top 4 contenders. Liverpool can still finish in the top 4 this year and that wouldn’t be a disappointing season at all, and as Klopp usually takes a couple of seasons to get going like he did with Borussia Dortmund, there is still plenty to come from the German. In his first two seasons at Borussia Dortmund he only helped them finish 6th and 5th place respectively, but the two seasons after that he won the league twice in a row, so as soon as he puts his print on the team there will be silverware to look forward to.
If you fancy Klopp to be able to turn around Liverpool’s title hopes this season, you can always have a bet on one of their upcoming fixtures – for more info see live in-play schedule of major sports events to bet on and you will be able to find out when they are on next. Will Klopp succeed as manager? Or will Liverpool fans want to see the back of him as early as the end of this season?
