A designer clothes shop in Liverpool city centre was ransacked by thieves just weeks after its opening.
Police were called to the premises of Union 22 at 11.50pm on Tuesday after reports that unknown group of men had entered the Victoria Street store.
A quantity of clothing was stolen and it is believed the offenders may have left the area in a black vehicle which was driven along Stanley Street and Dale Street.
Detective Inspector Phil Mahon said: “We would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Victoria Street last night who may have seen a group of males acting suspiciously to contact us.
“Similarly we would ask anyone who believes they have been offered mens’ designer clothing for sale or has any information about the burglary to get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Merseyside Police on 0151 777 4065 or the Crimestoppers line anonymously on 0800 555 111.
