Detectives have arrested a man in connection with a series of attacks on homes across Liverpool.
The 26-year-old from Anfield was detained after two women were assaulted at a property in Goldcrest Close, West Derby during the early hours of January 7.
Days later, a man was taken to hospital after being shot in the arm when a three-man gang broke into his house on Dacy Road in Everton late on Tuesday night.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that the suspect has been arrested on on suspicion of aggravated burglary and Section 18 assault in connection with an incident in Goldcrest Close
He has also been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with an incident in Dacy Road on January 10 and remains in custody ahead of questioning.
