Everton are planning to make a clean break with the Roberto Martinez era by offloading a raft of players used during his tenure.
Ronald Koeman has already begun plans to overhaul the current Blues squad and will clear out several figures that were mainstays during his predecessor’s reign.
Oumar Niasse is already set to be part of the upheaval after being banished to work with the club’s under-23 side by Koeman at the start of this season.
Also heading for the exit will be Tom Cleverley, with the midfielder featuring sporadically under the Dutchman since he replaced Martinez last summer.
Though inherited from David Moyes, the fates of Darron Gibson and Bryan Oviedo are also reportedly subject to scrutiny from the current Everton manager.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the injury-plagued duo will join fellow perennial casualty Arouna Kone in having their futures placed under the microscope.
Koeman remains confident that the Goodison Park hierarchy, now headed by Iranian billionaire Farhad Moshiri, will back his planned signings in January and next summer.
