Liverpool have no intention of selling Mohamed Salah this summer.
Salah continues to be linked with a move to Al Ittihad, who have made a renewed approach for the club’s leading Premier League goal scorer.
But the Reds are adamant that they will not entertain any offers for the Egypt international, who has two years remaining on his current deal at Anfield.
His representative Ramy Abbas Issa previously shot down speculation of a move to Saudi Arabia, insisting Salah is ‘committed’ to the Merseyside club.
“If we considered leaving [Liverpool] this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer,” Issa tweeted earlier this month.
“Mohamed remains committed to LFC.”
Jurgen Klopp’s side have already lost two first-team mainstays to the growing Pro League with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho both departing this summer.
Al Ittihad, who signed the Brazilian midfielder, have an extended market to pursue Salah due to the Saudi transfer deadline closing on September 20.
However it is not expected that Salah or Liverpool’s stance will change despite the additional three-week window in which the Pro League club could do a deal.
