Alisson believes Liverpool are starting to overcome their early-season malaise.
Saturday’s Merseyside derby saw Jurgen Klopp’s side rack up only their ninth point from a possible 18 at the start of the Premier League’s new campaign.
A win over Newcastle before facing Everton saw the Reds concede the first goal for an eighth game in their past nine top-flight outings since last term.
Injuries have also hampered the Anfield club, who sit four points adrift of the Champions League qualification spots and six behind league leaders Arsenal.
But Alisson is adamant there were clear signs in Liverpool’s recent displays, including at Goodison Park, that they are finally beginning to turn a corner.
He said: “I believe it’s only because of the circumstances around us [such as] the injuries.
“There are so many reasons you can point your finger on but in the end it’s on us.
“We need to have the right attitude on the pitch, working against those kind of problems to fix them. We fix that with football, this is our idea.
“We have to stick with our ideas of football and fight as well, being physical sometimes and we are trying to do that. We are getting there.
“We are changing a lot because of the players we lost at the beginning of the season due to injuries.
“Sometimes, starting a new season, you need time to adapt and it’s not easy.
“But we have to trust ourselves and know the quality we have, as a team, as individuals, our skills. We just have to use everything that we have.”
