Mane insists feud with Salah is ‘forgotten’

Sadio Mane insists his recent feud with Mohamed Salah has been ‘forgotten’.

The Liverpool forwards appeared at odds with each other in last month’s victory over Burnley, where Mane vented his frustrations in an out-of-character move.

Mane remonstrated with his teammates when substituted at Turf Moor over Salah’s apparent reluctance to play an easy pass near the end of the 3-0 win.

And the Senegal international has drawn a line under the disagreement between the pair, who shared the Premier League’s Golden Boot for last season.

“With Salah? It’s forgotten,” Mane told Canal+.

“Sometimes you have to say things face to face. These are things that happen in football, sometimes it happens that I am not given the pass.

“But we have reconciled and become the good friends we were before.”
