Everton Women confirm new minority investors

Everton Women have confirmed the arrival of fresh minority investment.

Friday marked 12 months since owners The Friedkin Group completed their takeover of the club, bringing Farhad Moshiri’s eight-and-a-half year reign to an end.

Under the Americans’ restructuring plans, the Women’s Super League outfit became a standalone entity capable of attracting focused external investment.

The latest development on that front sees GED Investments joining the Blues’ ownership to invest in on-field resources while driving commercial growth.

GED Investments is a privately-held investment company based in Canada.

Angus Kinnear, the club’s CEO, will join the board of Everton Women as part of the move alongside TFG umbrella company Pursuit Sports chief David Beeston.

“I am delighted to welcome GED to the Everton family,” said Kinnear.

“This investment is testament to the vision we have for Everton Women, and a reflection of our aligned sporting ambition.

“I look forward to working with them as we embark on this journey.”
