David Moyes has revealed PGMOL’s stance on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s suspension.

Dewsbury-Hall will miss Everton’s Premier League encounter with Crystal Palace on Sunday after accumulating his fifth booking of the season against West Ham.

The playmaker was cautioned for a fairly innocuous challenge on Kyle Walker-Peters which was preceded by a dubious yellow card in the Merseyside derby.

Talks have taken place between Blues chief sand the refereeing body over the issue, with Dewsbury-Hall’s derby booking issued for a quickly taken free kick.

And Moyes claims that PGMOL made concessions about its handling of the issue which has curbed the 27-year-old’s strong start to life at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

“We have spoken to them,” confirmed the Everton manager,

“I think they are accepting that both yellow cards were wrong.

“It is amazing. If you look through his history, I think he only had six bookings last year in total, five the year before. He has never had these numbers at all.

“The last two decisions were terrible – more for the boy. We are going to miss him greatly but he has been back playing regularly and enjoying his football.”
