Everton unveil away kit inspired by dock roots

Everton have revealed their new away kit with a nod to Bramley-Moore Dock’s heritage.

David Moyes’ side will debut the change strip, which takes inspiration from the club’s historic surroundings, in Saturday’s pre-season friendly at Blackburn Rovers.

A pastel yellow shirt features a sleeve pattern representing the railway line that served Bramley-Moore darning its maritime connectivity in the mid to late 1800s.

The same tracks used to transport coal, food, cotton and clothing from ships that docked there have been reinstalled as heritage assets at the Blues’ new home.

Fans have the option of purchasing the new kit in the Pro style worn by the players and available in both men’s and women’s sizes only or the standard replica version.

A limited number of sponsor-free shirts in both ranges will be made available in men’s sizes and outfield shirts only.
