Everton chief executive Robert Elstone has been appointed to the club’s board of directors.
The 52-year-old became Blues chief in 2009 and was today elevated to the Goodison Park boardroom where he will work alongside new majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri and chairman Bill Kenwright.
Also joining Everton’s executive ranks is Alexander Ryazantsev, a long-standing associate of Moshiri that has held a number of roles in corporate finance including at ABN AMRO Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
