David Moyes insists Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s Everton future is still undecided.

Calvert-Lewin will become a free agent at the end of June but gave a strong intimation that he still sees his future with the club in a recent BBC interview.

The one-time England striker has not featured for the Blues since a hamstring injury in January but could be involved for Saturday’s visit of Ipswich Town.

However Moyes refuted reports that Calvert-Lewin has been offered fresh terms ahead of a final decision on his long-term fate at the club this summer.

He said: “There has not been a contract offer on the table since I’ve been here. I think the contract offer was here under a different regime.

“We want everybody to fight for what they’re doing, show what they’re worth, so there’s a lot of that.

“We’re taking a little bit of time – we’ve not had loads of time since January but we’ve had some.

“Unfortunately Dom has been injured for a big part of it, but Dom’s history has been very good so we’ll obviously be taking all of that into consideration.”
